03/20/2020- A popular transportation alternative for locals is getting parked for a while. Marinette’s Shared Ride Taxi Program had decided to temporarily suspend its service beginning this Saturday through at least April 5th to preserve the health and safety of both its employees and its passengers. However, while that passenger suspension is in place, Taxi, Inc. is launching an interim program picking up pre-paid orders at grocery stores and pharmacies and delivering them curb-side to residents. This new service will run Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and will be at the same cost that client would pay if they were riding in the vehicle.
