The annual Suicide Prevention Network’s “Embrace Life” family/community walk is being held this Sunday, September 26th at the American Legion in Menominee. Board Member Robin Elsner says, “the walk is about spreading the word that people can get intervention if they have suicidal ideation or mental health problems.”

“We’re really excited, we already have over 100 people already registered to walk, “ says Elsner.

Part of what makes the event so successful is the donation of raffle baskets and 50/50 raffles that happen throughout the day. These donations help support the SPN as well as scholarships for Marinette and Menominee schools.
