Two people are in custody after a drug bust netted more than a quarter pound of suspected meth. The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office says narcotics investigators with the Northeast Tri-County Drug Enforcement Group conducted an operation last Thursday collecting 120.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Exactly two-weeks later, arrests were made after another drug bust in Marinette County that seized 400 grams of suspected meth. That had an estimated street value of $25,000.00. Marinette County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Officer Patrick Callahan says, “Thursday was more of an investigation / operation. We received information that somebody was coming through the Northern end of our County, up in Niagara and into Dickinson County, Iron Mountain area with a substantial amount of Methamphetamine”

Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller says, “I play a part, but I play a small part.”

The Brown County Drug assisted both investigations Task Force, and Dickinson County, Michigan., KIND drug enforcement team. The authorities didn’t publicly disclose the identities of the suspects arrested last week. The authorities forwarded the case to the Marinette County District Attorney’s Office.
