In a release on Friday, Menominee Police say according to her boyfriend, Lisa becam3e upset during an argument and walked away from their vehicle toward open water of the bay near the lighthouse Monday. Despite his attempts to stop her, she continued walking and pushed him away. He left to seek help but could not locate her upon returning. Following this report, police launched an extensive search effort, including reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses and interviewing witnesses. Police deployed multiple drones to survey the area. Investigators discovered a shoe near the shore that they believe belonged to Lisa.  From the shore to open water, investigators found footprints. Investigators found no return footprints, showing she was alone. The Michigan State Police Dive Team, support by underwater drones and sonar equipment. Conducted a three-day search under challenging conditions but were unable to locate Lisa. Authorities suspended the search after a thorough underwater search. The Menominee Fire Department followed the footprints on the ice as far as conditions permitted. Enstrom Helicopter also assisted with the search by flying a helicopter and searching the area. Police are continuing to follow up on leads and analyze additional evidence collected during the investigation. At this time, there is no sign of foul play. Harbor Drive has now reopened.
