04/02/2019- Performers will take the stage this weekend for the debut of Theater on the Bay’s newest production: Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. It’s the last show of the season for Theater on the Bay. Artistic Director Rebecca Stone Thornberry says this classic British murder mystery enjoyed by audiences of all ages and the local cast is made up of both community members and students at the UW-Green Bay Marinette Campus.
The Mousetrap is the is the longest running play on London’s West End where it has played continuously for 66 years with over 27,000 performances. Stone Thornberry says she’s hoping to appeal to residents by bringing this big name to a small stage.
The show runs April 5th through the 7th and 12th to the 14th at the Herbert L Williams Theatre with Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30 and Sunday matinees beginning at 2:00. Tickets are available through the UWGB-Marinette Campus Theatre website or at the box office one hour before show time.
