11/04/2019- The search of a campground in Marinette County turned up no additional evidence related to the case of a Florence woman who’s been missing for more than three years. Deputies recently searched the Tranquil-Vista Campground in Pembine following an odor complaint, but cadaver dogs found only deer remains. That campground was previously owned by the family of 47-year-old Nancy Renkas, who was last seen getting into a white SUV at the Super One Foods store in Iron Mountain in 2016. Numerous law enforcement agencies from both Wisconsin and Michigan have since been involved in the investigation to locate Renkas and anyone connected to her disappearance. Anyone with information should contact the Marinette County, Wisconsin or Dickinson County, Michigan Sheriff’s Offices.
