The Town of Peshtigo Water Committee is holding a PFAS listening session specifically about PFAS and  longer-term water options. Town of Peshtigo Chairperson Cindy Boyle says, “we’re looking to do this so we can have an open dialogue with the community and to make sure of the variety of resources that are available to them.”

Boyle says, “I would like the residents of the Town of Peshtigo, especially those who are affected by the PFAS contamination, which for those who don’t realize is about a third of the Town’s population to know this is being addressed literally.”

They will hold the PFAS listening session on Thursday, February 3rd at 6pm at Little River Country Club in Marinette. Representatives from the DNR, Strand and Associates, the Town Board, Town Water Committee, along with the Town’s Attorney will be present to answer questions. If you cannot attend the meeting, it will be available via zoom.
