03/03/2020- An 18-year-old woman from Marinette and a 20-year-old Peshtigo man are in Menominee County Jail on multiple drug-related charges. Detectives with the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team had been investigating heroin overdoses that recently occurred in Menominee when they overheard a 911 call of another suspected overdose in the city. The female suspect was present at the scene and a search warrant executed at the residence turned up evidence of cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. The overdose victim was successfully revived using Narcan. Both suspects are being lodged at the Menominee County jail on multiple drug charges. Their names have not been released pending their arraignment in 95A District Court.
