St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marinette announced that it was awarded $8,500 through Tri-City Area United Way to help support its food pantry in Marinette. The St Vincent de Paul food pantry located at 1619 Main St in Marinette meets the needs of more than a 1,000 visits over the course of one month.  The cost of maintaining the food pantry is approximately $3,000 each month.

Sarah Sheraski, CEO/Executive Director of the Tri-City Area United Way says the food pantry is one of 19 programs who share in the $155,000 granted by Tri-City United Way’s Community Fund.
