03/26/2020- A new website has been developed to share key business resources for regional businesses impacted by COVID-19. Update906.com, developed by the Menominee Business Development Corporation and other partners, is intended to be a dedicated resource with the most up-to-date and relevant information available. The website features the definition of critical infrastructure industries and workers during the state-mandated Stay Home, Stay Safe order, small business relief programs, COVID-19 business impact surveys, and key weblinks. There’s also a comprehensive list of contacts for local economic development organizations along with regional, state, and federal representatives dedicated to the UP. MBDC Executive Director Nancy Douglas says she’s hopeful the site will serve as business leaders’ central location to find and navigate all of the resources available to help them endure the challenges stemming from the COVID-19 outbreak.
