A major Marinette County highway project wraps up this month. Crews on US 8 will perform finishing work on the highway from the west county line to just east of Dunbar. This week, the contractor is working on cleanup and removal of all erosion control devices, as well as the emulsification of the aggregate within beamguard areas. The highway will be open to traffic during this time, though occasional flagging operations may occur. The U-S 8 resurfacing project began in August of 2017. Work is expected to be complete by June 1st.
