08/30/2018- Things are quiet at the local UW campus now, but that will all change soon with the start of the Fall 2018 semester. Classes begin at the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus next Tuesday. Cindy Bailey is the Campus Executive Officer and she says enrollment is on its way up.
Some of the most popular offerings at the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus are courses in business, healthcare, and biological science. Bailey says about thirty-percent of their students come from across the UP border, but others come from a little further away. The school’s international program will host 40 students from across the globe this year.
As for physical campus changes following their recent rebranding, Bailey says they will be gradual. Staff will work to replace existing signs and banners with their updated name and logo. However, Bailey adds, the merger with UW-Green Bay won’t cause any academic changes for students this year.
