03/22/2018–66 years and the station first appeared on the AM radio dial, WAGN in Menominee can now also be heard on the FM dial.  WAGN’s programming can now be heard throughout the Menominee, Marinette, and Peshtigo area on 100.1 on FM, in addition to 1340 AM. The addition of the FM signal will significantly increase the nighttime range of the station.  With increasing electrical noise affecting the AM band, and listeners spending more time listening to FM, the Federal Communications Commission has been allowing AM stations to add FM translators to their service.  Bay Cities Radio has also received permission to construct an FM translator for Sportsradio 570, WMAM, which will take the air later this spring.
