05/22/2019- Area non-profits are invited to participate in Menominee’s annual Waterfront Festival. Food Booth applications for this year’s festival are now available at Menominee City Hall and can also be obtained by calling (906) 863-2656. Food booth tents are open to non-profit organizations, school groups, and churches and while some organizations prepare and serve their own specialty items, others contract for a share of the profits with commercial vendors. The cost of space is $350. Organizations must also contact the health department to obtain a temporary food service license and receive information on safe food preparation and sale. All booths are inspected by the Health Department on the first day of the festival. This year’s Waterfront Fest runs August 1st through the 4th.
