World Fest offers rural communities, like ours, in our region the opportunity to experience other cultures. The vehicle is music, but it’s really about ambassadorship, and learning other cultures and languages, and exposure to what it might look like on the other side of the globe. Kim Brooks Worldfest Marinette—Menominee Coordinator says, “this time is our fourth go around.”

Brooks says, “the majority of the work that Farah will be doing is in the schools. So, your kids and grandkids are going to have the opportunity to see Farah throughout the week, both throughout Marinette and Menominee Counties.”

This is the fourth of six series of residencies and the fourth time that the community will be in the Theatre on the Bay, which is newly renovated. There will be SURPRISE that will set this performance apart from the three spectacular performances prior. Secure your free tickets for the free community-wide concert on Saturday, February 17th, at 6pm at Theatre on the Bay.
